Fibrous cement slate
By far these are the best value for money slates there is on the market. The only fibre cement manufactured in the UK is from Marley Eternit. They achieve an A plus rating awarded by the BRE green guide meaning they have a very low impact on the environment.
Garsdale slate
This slate is most suited for developments where an appealing texture is required as this slate has a square edge, a textured surface and a very aesthetic look.
Rivendale slate
This slate has a fine textured surface with dressed edges giving it a superb aesthetic look very much like a natural slate and when fitted to your roof it will lift the look to a natural slate finish.
Thrutone slate
This slate has a square edge and a smooth surface. It has the looks to die for but stays at a realistic cost. It is ideal for low pitch roofs that have roofing joists at 4 meters or less. It can be fitted to a 15-degree pitch roof using hook method fixings.
Birkdale slate
This slate is ideal for low pitch roofs that have roofing joists at 6 meters or less. It can be fitted to a 15-degree pitch roof using hook method fixings. It has a smooth surface.

Spanish natural slate
This is a natural slate usually grey in colour with a smooth natural matt finish. As natural slates goes it is quite consistent in size, shape and thickness throughout its length.
Spanish contessa natural slate
This is a natural slate quarried and shipped from Spain. It has a naturally textured edge, surface and is long lasting offering a very attractive looking roof.
Canadian glendyne natural slate
This is a natural slate quarried in Qubek Canada. It is strong, long lasting and consistent in size, shape and thickness. It has a Blue/grey colour figuration similar to British natural slate.
Welsh penrhyn natural slate
This is a natural slate with exceptional qualities. It has a lifespan of over 100-years, it has a fabulous aesthetic look and will not fade in colour as time passes. It is used and sought after by many people for use in the private sector and listed buildings.
